Our current membership fee in annual rate of $150 (plus GST). Invoices will be issued on receipt of your membership application
We aim to achieve our purpose through three main areas:
Promote.
We organise networking and educational events which bring the community together and promote local businesses. These highlight the achievements of local businesses and increase their community presence.
Communicate.
Using this website, our social media pages, email newsletters and face-to-face interactions to connect our members and keep them updated on latest news in the Kerikeri and extended business environments.
Collaborate.
We work in collaboration with Council and Community Boards, Police, other Business Associations and each other. Through this, we aim to have a safe, well-informed community where members are connected and have the ability to voice their opinions and receive support from the right people.
Through these three key processes, the KKDBA offers 4 key areas of benefits for members.
Events & Training
Organising regular networking and business education events to help lift the capability of our membership. We also run collaborative events with other organisations for specialist topics. In addition, Members can put forward events they’d like the KKDBA to help organize, especially if they help the KKDBA and promote the town.
Cost savings.
Discounted rates for various promotional tools. Have an event coming up? Get a discounted rate on the street banner! Get your business heard about by taking advantage of heavily discounted radio advertising rates.
Support.
By joining a community of likeminded business people, members will have the opportunity to connect and create networks with other businesses in the area. As a member, you are welcome to attend committee meetings. At the beginning of every meeting time is allocated for guest members to speak, so you are guaranteed to have your say. You will be informed about planned activities and projects as well as have the opportunity to contribute to the future plans of the Association.
