How much does it cost to join?

A yearly membership with the KKDBA costs $150.00 + GST.

What do I get for my membership?

Apart from being a part of a sweet group of business owners?! The KKDBA regularly hosts events with guest speakers that are free for members to attend. We advocate to Council on any issues that are affecting our local businesses and business owners. You also get free marketing in our Members Register, so that visitors & potential customers can find out who you are!

My business is based in Waipapa, can I join the KKDBA?

What events & training do you do?

We organise regular networking and business education events to help lift the capability of our membership. We also run collaborative events with other organisations for specialist topics. In addition, Members can put forward events they’d like the KKDBA to help organize, especially if they help the KKDBA and promote the town.

How is it cost-effective?

We provide discounted rates for various promotional tools. Have an event coming up? Get a discounted rate on the street banner! Get your business heard about by taking advantage of heavily discounted radio advertising rates.

How do you represent local businesses?

We will represent members in relevant forums both within and outside our community. We liaise with and lobby the Far North District Council and other bodies to highlight the specific issues that relate to Kerikeri with respect to growth and development of the local commercial environment.

How do you support local businesses?

By joining a community of like minded business people, members will have the opportunity to connect and create networks with other businesses in the area. As a member, you are welcome to attend committee meetings. At the beginning of every meeting time is allocated for guest members to speak, so you are guaranteed to have your say. You will be informed about planned activities and projects as well as have the opportunity to contribute to the future plans of the Association.
